Gateway's Greatest Strengths

The strength of school lies in the
dedication of the staff and the way in which
they live the love of learning, and instil their
enthusiasm in the children in their care. It is the focus
on each child, the value we place on the contribution made
by each individual in our community, and the commitment
to celebrating a child’s strengths - giving them the
confidence, determination and motivation to succeed
after they leave Gateway.

Gateway’s a caring community where children are
accepted for who they are, whatever their
strengths or weaknesses. If there’s a social or
academic problem, it’s identified and dealt with.

The care and attention given to
each child by our staff which allows
them to reach their potential and
grow in independence and confidence.

It's a family run school where every child is treated as an
individual and given the support they need to learn.

Creating an environment for the children to learn
in that is unique to each and every child, providing opportunities
for the children to make their own choices about what it is they
