Year 1 – Time flies when you are having fun!

I just can’t believe that this is the last newsletter of the year! Time certainly DOES fly when you are having fun and we certainly have had fun in abundance. I am so sad to be saying goodbye to my lovely class and I know they are going to continue to go from strength to strength on the next part of their academic journey. This year I have watched the children blossom into confident, enthusiastic, fun loving team players and they have continued to have strong friendship bonds with both old and new class members. I hope you enjoyed the production of Little Red Riding Hood. The children all worked incredibly hard to learn their lines, add humour and expression to make it a truly magnificent production which we were all incredibly proud of, I hope you were to! The children were very excited (if a little anxious) to find out who their new teachers were going to be in Year 2, but every single child came back with a big beaming smile and happy with where they were going. I am really looking forward to seeing and hearing about all their experiences in Year 2 and I wish them all the very best. Thank you for being a great group of parents too, always so supportive with a great sense of humour! Have a super summer holiday and family time. I think we are all ready for it! Happy holidays!
