Samantha brings eighteen years of teaching experience to our school, having joined us in 2020. Initially serving as Head of Lower Prep and EYFS, she advanced to the role of Deputy Headteacher in 2022. Samantha is also our Designated Safeguarding Lead and teaches across all year groups, from Preschool to Year 6.
Before her tenure at Gateway School, Samantha had a distinguished career teaching across the EYFS and Lower Prep stages. In Cambridge, she served as an Early Years and Key Stage 1 Coordinator, where her passion and expertise significantly contributed to the school’s development. She also completed the National Senior Leadership Qualification at her previous school.
Samantha graduated from the University of Cambridge with a BA (Hons) in English Literature and later earned a Postgraduate Certificate in Education, specialising in Early Years Education (0-7 years). Her extensive background and dedication make her a vital part of our leadership team and a cherished educator in our community.
